Senior Software Engineer for Managed Database Service
About our Team
On a daily basis, we build and maintain Samsung Private Cloud, the platform for internal company needs. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for the development of cloud database and cloud data warehouse solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Delivering microservices into a private cloud environment (Python, Go)
- Integration, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud database and cloud data warehouse solutions (MySQL, StarRocks, Redis)
- Implementing operational requests and providing support for the client
Technologies in use
- Python, Go
- MySQL, StarRocks, Redis
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend services development
- Proficient knowledge of Python or Go
- Experience in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based distributed systems
- Practical knowledge of SQL
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Experience in maintenance and monitoring of relational databases, data warehouses, or cache storage
- Experience in building and managing large, highly available enterprise-grade applications
- Working knowledge of public cloud systems (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP certification)
- Practical knowledge of software architecture, data modeling, and object-oriented programming concepts
