About our Team
Samsung R&D Institute Poland is looking for Java Backend Developer, for the team working on b.IoT/EHS Cloud Solution Development. The project team covers b.IoT solution development. If you would like to work on innovative solutions from ideation, through proof of concept, to the commercialization phase, come and join us.
We're highly specialized team in developing of modern tools for buildings environment control. Our solutions provide convenient and highly advance IoT technology for controlling human comfort and energy consumption efficiency of commercial and residential buildings. Role and Responsibilities
- Development of backend for PoC and commercial solutions in IoT area
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of software engineering best practices
- Supporting full software development lifecycle of solution backend
- Participate in international meetings
- Research about innovative solutions

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Java/Spring developer
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Microservice Architecture
- Very good knowledge of Spring, REST API, SQL
- Knowledge of frontend technologies at least good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of the Linux environment
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in: preferably computer science, telecommunication, other STEM field
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to write clean and high quality code
- Good English and Polish - communication level
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure infrastructure
- Familiarity with related technologies Redis, RabbitMQ,
- Familiarity with CI/CD based on: Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Spring Security and OAuth
