Kernel Engineer – Automotive

About our team

We participate in the development of the Samsung Automotive platform and provide support on automotive projects for our customers, closely cooperating with the world’s top car manufacturers. Working on an ExynosAuto-based SoC, we develop solutions for the future of the automotive industry.

Role and Responsibilities

·       Develop, troubleshoot, and debug kernel-level problems on Linux/Android

·       Maintain and improve existing kernel implementations of Samsung Automotive platforms

·       Support developers of different modules and drivers

·       Provide support on customer issues related to the Automotive platform

·       Cooperate with third-party engineers

·      Linux/Android/QNX

Skills and Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication, or related fields

·      Knowledge of the Linux/Android kernel, including debugging and memory/process management

·      Knowledge of the C/C++ programming languages

·      Proven experience working on Linux/Android kernel development

·      Very good command of English – including the ability to read technical specifications

·      Readiness to travel (Europe)

·      Keen on staying up to date with the latest technological advancements

Nice to have

·      Knowledge of ARM architecture

·      Experience in the Yocto development environment

·      Experience with hypervisors and virtual machine environments
