Mobile Security Group at Samsung R&D Poland is looking for talents in the field of Information Security and Computer Science aspiring to become world-class Security Infrastructure Engineers. In this role, you will get a chance to support the rich automatic vulnerability detection infrastructure deployed in the Mobile Security Group. You will help us secure flagship Samsung Mobile products before they are released. You will get to work on cutting-edge security assessment tools with a friendly group of highly skilled and motivated engineers. You will be involved in the planning and development of security-related tools for the low-level parts of the Android OS (main focus on Linux kernel and native user space). Moreover, you will also work on automating vulnerability detection tasks in our internal CI environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support for building, maintaining, improving and enhancing our distributed fuzzing framework for the discovery and triage of vulnerabilities
• Workstation system maintenance
• Maintenance and development of Code Aware Services – our service which allows to efficiently handle full product source base and write tools that operate on source code
• Automation of security assessment methodology based on requirements from Security Engineers
• Constant review of existing processes and tools, gradual improvement supported by cooperation with Security Engineers
• Development and maintenance of internal virtualization systems for product build infrastructure
• Design and development of the Mobile Security development portal – an information management hub for Security Engineers

Skills and Qualifications

• Good command of Python
• Ability to leverage scripting languages like Bash or Python for implementation of automatable tasks
• Ability to 'think outside of the box' and a passion for solving unique challenges in technical environments
• Desire to work with innovative, always changing source code environment
• Interest in learning about different type of fuzzing techniques and related tools
• Good programming skills in C/C++

Nice to have

• Experience in S/W configuration tools (Git/Perforce) automation
• Knowledge of build related tools and systems like Make, CMake, Ninja etc.
• Web development: JavaScript, TypeScript (AngularJS), Flask, Django
• Knowledge of databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, Jenkins (Jenkins plugins development)
• Knowledge of container platforms like Docker
• Experience with infrastructure deployment tools – Kubernetes, docker-compose, docker-swarm
