About our Team
Samsung R&D Institute Poland is looking for Full Stack Developer, for the team working on Digital Identity solutions. If you would like to work on innovative solutions from ideation, through proof of concept, to the commercialization phase, come and join us.
We are dedicated to innovate our everyday life and support digital transformation. We develop solutions, which can improve and simplify our life, but also increase its security. Digital ID is going to change the way we interact between our offline and online life. As the new EU Digital Identity regulations are approaching, our team is growing and looking for new members.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer passionate not only about software development but also about innovative solutions, which can change our everyday life. If you feel stronger in either Android app development or backend, but have some knowledge about other part and motivation to learn and develop, we also strongly encourage you to apply.
Role and Responsibilities
- Research about innovative Digital Identity/ authentication solutions
- Development of PoC Android apps and/or backend of those solutions
- Supporting commercialization phase of Wallet App
- Participating in international meetings
- Implement and maintain security and data protection measures
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of software engineering best practices

Skills and Qualifications
- 4 years of backend development in Spring Framework and willingness to learn new technologies, 6 years in software development
- Experience in Cloud (preferable AWS) and DevOps technologies
- Knowledge of mobile security and cryptographic topics
- Familiar with data protection best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to write clean and high quality code
- Good English - communication level, Intermediate Polish – understanding and basic communication level
Nice to have
- Kotlin in backend or Android development
- Knowledge of frontend technologies
- Experience in Android development
- Familiarity with various Digital ID related specifications and technologies (e.g. ISO mDL, Verifiable Credentials, OpenID, FIDO)
- Familiarity with NFC, Bluetooth technologies
