About our Team

Join one of the biggest teams in Europe working on natural language and speech processing. Our lab is a place where engineers, researchers and linguists work on innovative products for multilingual European market. Our processes are based on the latest machine learning techniques, broad data resources and relevant computational resources. Our diverse team of experts design and implement solutions for the most innovative Samsung products.

Role and Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of data pipelines that process audio and text data 
• Implementation of machine-learning models used for the tasks of data repair and data augmentation
• Collaboration with R&D engineers, language experts and project stakeholders

Technologies in use

• Python (NumPy, Pandas, Unittest, re, multiprocessing)
• DSP (sox, signal sampling, audio conversion, FFT, MFCC, filtering)
• Linux OS

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Engineer degree in computer science, mathematics or similar area of knowledge
• Experience with text processing and Digital Signal Processing
• Experience in Python programming
• Good knowledge of Linux OS
• Knowledge of English at a level that enables reading and writing of technical documentation and keeping correspondence
• Attention to details, efficiency, accuracy and interest in NLP and data processing
• An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
• Ability to quickly understand and be updated on guidelines and policies 
• Ability to support several projects at one time and to accept re-prioritization as necessary
• Collaborative and helpful approach in terms of close team cooperation and guidance
• At least 2 years of experience in data processing related fields
• Full time availability 

Nice to have

• Interest and/or practical knowledge of NLP tools and algorithms
• Knowledge of tools such as Scikit-learn
• Experience in DevOps
• Interest in research area
