Role and Responsibilities

• Leading technical role in developing a new version of a module related to text processing (normalization, error correction) for our multilingual Automatic Speech Recognition solution,
• Maintenance of the current version of the module as long as needed,
• Creating tools and automation that supports entire development process,
• Collaboration with other experts and R&D centers,
• Collaboration with a team of internal language experts.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, telecommunications or related fields, or equivalent relevant experience
• Knowledge of the Linux text shell and selected scripting languages (Bash),
• Profound experience in Java,
• Experience and familiarity with Python and Docker,
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to debug and solve problems in complex environments
• Practical knowledge or strong interest in natural language/speech processing or machine learning,
• Knowledge of English at a level that enables reading and writing of technical documentation and keeping correspondence.

Nice to have

• Understanding of FST (Finite State Transducers), familiarity with OpenFST library or Thrax grammars,
• Familiarity with ANSI C and/or Rust
• Familiarity with build systems: gradle, maven, Makefile
• Experience with CI systems: Jenkins, Github Actions
• Experience in Android application development and debugging
