Java Developer – focus on backend

Location: Baden-Baden, Germany

Tasks:

Agility: You will be part of a small, effective and agile team which is working on an online solution with high availability
DevOps: Together with your team you will assume responsibility for the entire product life cycle, from requirements to operations
Innovations: You are looking for technical innovations and driving them forward
Improvements: You are actively contributing to improve processes, security and efficiency not only in your team but also crossfunctionally
Communication: You represent your team´s decisions when interacting with external partners, customers, management and other teams
Technologies: You familiarize yourself with new technologies to foster the progress of your team and department.

Required profile:

You hold an academic degree in the field of IT or Business IT
You have gained at least 2 years of working experience in an agile environment
You enjoy working in a team to accomplish common goals
You are driven by a spirit of innovation and continuous learning
You are fascinated by agile methods and clean-code development
You have a profound knowledge in JAVA and JEE as well as in the use of Unix
You are familiar with document-oriented and relational databases
You have experiences in utilizing DevOps-Tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or you are willing and capable to familiarize yourself quickly with those tools
You have good oral and written skills in German and English
