Job description
The Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for:
- Cloud Onboarding/Offboarding – Coordinate on-prem connectivity with customers, support customer infrastructure needs in latest cloud technologies, and oversee automated deployments (installs/upgrades)
- Cloud Environment Monitoring
- Ensure proper disaster recovery features are in place
- Monitor service degradations and proactively ensure proper performance of environments
- Alert Escalation
- Staying up to date with new cloud technologies, industry trends and best practices.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues and new engineers.
- Provide continuous improvements to automations and build pipelines. Collaborate with architects and quality assurance engineers on automation and infrastructure related topics
- Create Process documentation and white papers around cloud and infrastructure processes.
- Being able to work independently and take ownership.

- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service environment.
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of Microsoft .Net Web Applications
- Knowledge of Database Administration is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
