The Team: As part of the Technology and Customer Applications organization of S&P Global Commodity Insights (SPGCI), Platform Solutions is responsible and accountable for the delivery of projects across the Gas, Power and Climate Solutions and Fuels, Chemicals and Resource Solutions portfolios. This role will report into the Platform Solutions Program Manager and support the overall delivery of multiple projects across the portfolio through engagement with stakeholders across supported business lines, the Platform Solutions leadership team, our Agile Program Management group, as well as the shared service Technology and Data teams that support Commodity Insights.

The Impact: The Technology Project Manager will support the on-time and on-budget delivery of the Platform Solutions program, which includes a significant number of large, multi-cycle projects across SPGCI. The role will be responsible for managing and tracking the implementation of Technology and Data best practices in project delivery, including ensuring that project risks are escalated, execution streams are operating efficiently, dependencies are identified and mapped across the portfolio, and that projects are on track to deliver to the business objectives as per commercial roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

• The Technical Project Manager is responsible for supporting project delivery across the Platform Solutions portfolio through cross-functional team coordination, dependency mapping, and reporting.
• Monitor progress of key projects and initiatives against timelines, budget and dependencies and ensure that standard processes are being followed.
• Support project life-cycle management where needed
• Create and publish reports at the Platform Solutions portfolio level, including updates on roadmaps, resourcing, and risks.
• Communicate project status and progress to Platform Solutions leadership team.
• Track risks and ensure contingency plans are in place.

What We’re Looking For:

• The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in IT project/program management
• A bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, engineering, or related).
• Project management certifications, such as PMP, are also highly valued.
• Candidates must be proficient in English
• It critical that a successful candidate be highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
