Roomzilla is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure quality in the software development process. This is a strong result-driven role for natural ‘can-do’ individuals.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As part of our Roomzilla’s Software Engineering Team, you will be working along with 4 developers on our core projects to continuously improve the quality of our software products such as: Workspace Management System. In addition to that you will:
- Design test cases for new functionalities and executing them
- Manually test the application, using appropriate techniques, methodology and test strategies.
- Document test results and report bugs.
- Take ownership of test processes, i.e. design QA test procedures.
- Plan, execute and report testing activities against functional requirements including regressions, performance and system integration.
- Analyze and verify test results and manage issues / defects.
- Review requirements and technical design documents and adjust test strategy accordingly.
- Design, implement and improve automated tests based on technologies such as Selenium, Postman or similar.
- Do analysis, discussing and clarifying requirements, signaling missing information to the team.

ABOUT YOU
You have significant experience in cross-functional teamwork interacting with product management, engineering, testing, marketing and other stakeholders. You have a strong attention to detail, you are a diplomat that works well in a team, but you also appreciate independence at work.
You also can be characterized as a person who is/has:

- Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner while expressing your opinion

YOU HAVE
- Expertise in software quality and testing methodologies, experience in designing test strategies and plans
- Experience with testing web applications: HTTP, REST APIs, WebSockets.
- Experience in working in Scrum.
- Understanding of software internals as well as innate ability to find bugs and diagnose problems in software.
- English speaking skills. B2 level is a must.
IT’S ALSO NICE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) IF YOU HAVE
- Knowledge of integration testing tools, continuous deployment solutions and version management systems: Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins.
- Ability to develop automated tests suites: Java/Python, Selenium, TestNG.
