UX/UI Designer

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer who is proactive, self-sufficient, and excels in collaboration. The ideal candidate has a good eye for design and a strong background in delivering UX/UI solutions within large-scale, token-based design systems, understands frontend technologies, and actively contributes to the development and evolution of our UI components and patterns.

Location: Warsaw – mostly remote, with occasional office visits (once a month or less). The onboarding phase is conducted on-site.

Rate: 90–110 PLN/hour (B2B)

Business trips: Possible occasionally – mainly to Munich (all costs fully covered by the client)

Responsibilities:

•    Product UX/UI Enhancement: Use design system components to build and enhance product experiences, ensuring they are user-friendly and aligned with business objectives. 
•    Design System Expertise: Understanding and fluent use of design system components in accordance with our design system patterns, and the ability to create components tailored to your UX/UI projects 
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary frontend 
•    development teams on the development and evolution of UI components and patterns, ensuring seamless integration. 
•    Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Figma and Tokens Studio. 
•    Conceptualization and Prototyping: Create innovative concepts, detailed prototypes, and polished UI designs that address user needs, meets accessibility standards and business goals. 
•    User Research and Testing: Conduct qualitative user tests and A/B tests to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions, continuously improving the user experience. 
•    Ecommerce Expertise: Designing ecommerce flows with focus on enhancing the customer journey and conversion 
•    Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, confidently presenting designs and articulating design rationale to stakeholders.

We are looking for:

•    Min. 5+ experience as UX/UI Designer or UX/UI Product Designer 
•    Advanced Figma skills, including components, variants, prototyping, and libraries 
•    Advanced experience with design tokens (proficiency with Tokens Studio in daily work is a plus) 
•    Proven experience in creating UX/UI designs based on large-scale, token-based design systems and component libraries 
•    Excellent communication skills in English and ability to proactively drive design solutions across teams 
•    Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React ect.) for seamless collaboration with developers  
•    Understanding of designing for multiple touchpoints and brands 
•    Understanding of responsive design 
•    Applying structured and systemized design approaches 
•    Proactivity in proposing new solutions 
•    Experience in user research and applying findings to improve designs (nice-to-have) 
•    Previous experience in ecommerce not mandatory, but highly welcome  (You should understand how to improve conversion rates through your UI and make the complex processes  intuitive for consumers) 
•    Portfolio with real, complex products
