Cybersecurity Architect

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join our client's team and play a crucial role in safeguarding cloud environments. If you are passionate about cloud security and have a mix of technical competencies and soft skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Consult: Develop and advise on the implementation of threat detection architecture for our cloud infrastructure.
• Security Controls: Design and implement security controls to detect and respond to threats in Azure and AWS environments.
• Support & Advise: Provide support and consultation for security operations within our cloud environment.
• Assessments & Penetration Testing: Oversee and advise on assessments and penetration testing for our cloud infrastructure.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest cloud security trends and best practices.
• Policy Development: Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement security policies and procedures.

Experience:

• Cloud Security: 5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture.
• Tools & Technologies: Experience with tools such as Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, or Amazon GuardDuty.
• Azure Experience: Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Security Principles: In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Threat Detection & Response: Experience in threat detection and response.
• MITRE ATT&CK Framework: Good understanding and practical experience in applying this framework.
• Automation Tools: Experience with security automation and orchestration tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.

Education & Certifications:

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications: Passed exams Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies (AZ-303) and Microsoft Azure Architect Design (AZ-304).

Preferred Certifications (Bonus):

• Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP-ISSAP, AWS Certified Security, MS Cybersecurity Architect Expert, OSCP, GDSA.
