Responsibilities

• As part of our innovative and international team, you will configuring and operating Cloud-based infrastructure or Cloud-native applications on Azure
• You will be responsible deploying and maintaining monitoring and log management solutions
• Following the "Automate all things" approach, applying DevOps principles and choosing suitable tools to optimally implement Infrastructure-as-Code, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment and Containerization (e.g., with Kubernetes)
• Being a point of reference for our clients and supporting the monthly evolution of the infrastructure and the resolution of possible incidents
• Carrying responsibility for the 2nd and 3rd Level Cloud Managed Platform Support with respect to defined SLAs
• Ensuring that our clients are experiencing a “gold standard” Managed Services experience

Qualifications

• Successfully completed university studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable technical course of study and professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Developer or System Administrator
• Good knowledge of Azure; Microsoft certifications are a plus. Very good experience with Linux and Windows environments, Networks and IT Security. Knowledge of container technologies is a plus.
• You are familiar with common scripting languages (e.g. Typescript, Bash and Python) and Infrastructure as Code and have monitoring skills You also have very good knowledge of IT infrastructures and enjoy working on agile projects (Scrum, Kanban).
• You are familiar with following technologies: Apache Spark, Kafka, IaC, SQL/KQL, databases, REST, git, DevOps principles.
• Very good communication skills in English (German is a plus), as well as willingness to travel occasionally, round off your profile
• Availability to work in a remote/hybrid mode. Remote workers, we invite to the office a few times every year
