Software Developer - Cloud Native / Java (B2B)

Responsibilities

• Together with our international team, you will develop using modern open-source frameworks and tools such as J2E, microservices, Docker, SQL, Kubernetes (OpenShift is a plus), Maven and reverse proxy technologies (e.g. Apache, Nginx)

• You design new innovative features in collaboration with product owners, business analysts and other stakeholders and are responsible for their implementation

• You actively support the implementation and further development of standards

• You are responsible for the creation of technical concepts and documentation

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics or a similar qualification

• You have at least 2 years of professional experience as a Java developer

• Experience working with development environments such as Maven, Git/Subversion and Jenkins

• You are familiar with concepts such as DevOps, continuous delivery, clean code, TDD and agile methods

• You are characterized by a very analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking in combination with strong leadership qualities

• Technology: Java, Microprofile, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgresql, Kafka, Jmeter, Rest Services, Quarkus

• Platform and Hosting: AWS -> EKS, RDS, MSK, Redis, EC2, Secret Manager

• OS: Linux any distro

• Methodology: Agile development

• Project management tools: Jira, Confluence

• Remote working is allowed with the need to come to the office for the first period every day for 2 weeks and afterwards 1-2 days per week, plus when requested for project reasons (or events for the internal roles)

• Fluent Polish and very good communication English skills round off your profile - German is a plus, but not mandatory
