Senior Backend Developer (.NET)

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Backend .NET Developer, you will work on a next-generation payment processing system built on a modern .NET microservices architecture.

• You will design, develop and deploy backend services with a strong focus on security, high availability and quality, ensuring the platform can support large-scale financial operations.

• Collaborate in a dynamic, autonomous setting while working within small, agile (SAFe) and cross-functional teams.

• Use the latest Microsoft technologies to solve real-world challenges for customers operating at significant scale.

• Share your expertise, contribute to technical discussions and help the team continuously evolve development best practices.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed university degree in computer science or a comparable field of study.

• 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET  / ASP.NET Core, including building microservices and working with distributed systems at scale.

• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and MSSQL (schema design, performance).

• Practical hands-on experience with Kafka for data streaming and event-driven communication.

• Familiarity with agile practices (Pairing, TDD, BDD, CI/CD)

• Fluency in Polish and very good communication skills in English.

• Availability to work in a remote/hybrid setup, with one office visit per month for remote workers.
