Mid/Senior Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or solution and develop frontend requirements as part of the implementation of web-based eCommerce applications
• Collaborate with teams of engineers, software developers, and architects
• Participate in planning, designing, developing, refactoring, and testing new features
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Learn from feedback provided by senior developers to improve coding skills
• Develop and maintain unit tests as part of the software development process
• Communicate with the product owner and product management teams to understand and implement proposed designs

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Basic understanding of Java (experience with Python is a plus)
• Familiarity with backend development programming languages such as Java
• Strong knowledge of frontend tech stack (CSS, HTML, Javascript, Angular, React)
• Strong knowledge of best practice software development design patterns
• Demonstrated interest in learning about SAP Commerce or other eCommerce platforms based on Spring and Java
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Good communication skills in English
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter
