Fullstack Tech Lead (Java) (B2B)

Responsibilities

• You take ownership of a new project, with the opportunity to build and lead your own development team.

• As both the Team Lead and Technical Lead, you will oversee the development of Java applications for a key client in the German financial sector.

• You lead your team using Agile methodologies, fostering collaboration and mentoring team members on technical best practices.

• You act as the point of contact for the client, ensuring smooth project coordination and communication.

• You work with a technology stack: 

  • Backend: Java 21, Spring 6, Spring Boot 3, Hibernate,

  • Frontend: Angular 19. Typescript, Web Components, RxJs,

  • Kubernetes, Gitlab, Sonar, Junit, Mockito, RESTAssured, Jest, Jasmine, Cypress.

• You are responsible for the product you build.

• You actively contribute ideas to develop innovative solutions.

• You work in an agile environment, using scrum.

• You meet with your team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month to plan your work and discuss progress.

• You have the possibility to develop yourself not only as a leader but also as a developer.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Communication skills in German is a plus.

• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.

• At least 8 years of experience working as a Backend or Fullstack developer with Java, ideally with React as well.

• Experience in code testing.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Experience working in a self-organized team.

• Good familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

• Leadership project experience is a plus.
