Job description
Responsibilities
- As part of our innovative and international team, you will make take leadership in the realization of innovative cloud applications (e.g. Internet of Thing, Data-driven solutions, Connected Devices, Portals, Apps, etc.)
- This includes the independent designing, developing and integrating cloud-native software applications and infrastructure using Amazon Web Services, microservices based on serverless applications with AWS Lambda and AWS SAM, as well as container technologies (e.g. Docker, K8s, EKS, Fargate)
- You are responsible for the requirements engineering with our customers and actively support the preparation of offers
- You will use DevOps principles / Infrastructure as Code with the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Terraform, and CloudFormation to transition projects into smooth operations
- You support and advise our customers and thus get to know a wide variety of industries & projects and also help with the creation of proposals at times.

Qualifications
- Successfully completed university studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable technical course of study and around 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Developer or System Administrator
- Very good knowledge of programming languages (Java, TypeScript / Javascript, Go etc..), common scripting languages like Bash, Python, Go(lang)
- Expert knowledge of a portion of the following tech and tool stack: Node.JS / NPM, Vue.JS, Nuxt.JS, Spring, JUnit, Jest, Mocha, Lodash, Git, Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, AppSync (GraphQL), AWS Lambda, AWS SAM, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Timestream).
- Strong interest in Public Cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Servers (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or similar, knowledge of AWS Cloud Development Kit is a plus
- Experienced with Serverless, Containers, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Automation and relevant tools
- Several years of experience as Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Platform Engineer or similar
- Strong methodological know-how regarding Agile, Scrum, Kanban and DevOps
- Fluent English language is mandatory; German and Italian languages would be a plus
