Responsibilities
- As part of our innovative and international team, you will make a valuable contribution to the consulting and configuration of cloud applications and environments for our client in FinTech area
- This includes taking responsibility for design, development, integration and maintenance using Amazon Web Services, microservices hosted on AWS Beanstalk (Java) and CloudFormation as well, communicated thought SQS , and the continuous development of the system landscape
- You will rely on DevOps principles / Infrastructure as Code with the AWS
- You will be part of PCI Compliance process ensuring periodical checks of changes and configurations and participating in audit each year
Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable technical course of study and at least 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Developer or System Administrator
- Familiarity with DevOps practice and cloud principles. Good knowledge of AWS technology; AWS certifications are a plus
- Sufficient experience with Linux and Windows environments as well as with networks and IT security and knowledge of container technologies
- Good knowledge of common scripting languages, Infrastructure as Code and monitoring skills and understanding of IT infrastructures and enjoyment of Agile projects (Scrum, Kanban)
- Good communication skills in English
- Understanding of PCI Compliance requirement is as a plus
In general we work from home but please note once every month we are meeting in our office in Katowice.
