About the Role:

The Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack enhances our strategy for acquiring and retaining customers by focusing on several key areas. AdTech aims to improve efficiency in spending, enable experimentation with new channels, ensure privacy compliance, and manage and optimize advertising from start to finish. Data instrumentation utilizes data to provide accurate attribution and support decision-making. Lifecycle Tech facilitates engagement with customers by delivering the right messages at the right time and optimizing the experience of those messages. Marketing Automation offers tools and automation to streamline tasks and reduce the need for human intervention in routine activities.

As full-stack engineer you will be reporting to Engineering Manager in Krakow, and cooperating with PM in Poland time zone.

Some examples of high impact initiatives you will part of:

• Ad bidding - Allow us to effectively optimize ad spend, improve targeting, and enable value based bidding strategies to get the most out of our marketing efforts.
• Evolution of Marketing Event Architecture: Transform our event architecture into a state-of-the-art, privacy-compliant system. By leading this, you will empower our marketing team to execute campaigns that are effective, cost efficient and respectful of user privacy.

You Will:

• set the standard for delivering well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient systems (not only code)
• participate with whole cross-functional team in designing engineering vision for platform to bring it to live
• see different codding languages as just syntax abstractions over well known patterns
• become an expert with all our integrations, system, domains, and marketing dependencies in all of our a scalable cloud-based architecture
• drive incident response efforts across cross-functional teams
• define and execute threat detection and response strategy
• participate in the team "on-call" service rotation

You Have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of building consumer software products
• Proficient in technical architecture and system design concepts
• Proficient in shipping code in a scalable, reliable fashion
• Comfortable building, shipping, and maintaining services and systems in cloud
• Proficient in a few general purpose languages like from modern stack like: Java, Kotlin, Go, Node.Js, TypeScript, React, but also understand and made small changes in legacy PHP
• not allergic on frontend or you have good tools how to handle this allergy
