Android Auto Developer

Our client is urgently looking for an Android Auto Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate Android-based applications and services for automotive infotainment systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality infotainment solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Android Auto applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Focus on enhancing the user experience by implementing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Ensure all developments comply with automotive industry standards and regulations.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Android Auto systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for automotive applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Other desired skills:

·      Excellent communication in English language

·      German language skill is a massive bonus

Fully remote, however, you may be required to travel occasionally to meet client or attend conferences
