Sr Lead Site Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for top-tier talent eager to make a real impact by supporting and evolving a complex, high-traffic, business-critical environment—spanning both internet-facing platforms and cloud-based systems. In this role, you will plan, design, and implement scalable local and wide-area network solutions across diverse platforms and protocols, including IP and VOIP.

You will be responsible for maintaining optimal system performance by identifying and resolving network issues, and coordinating the installation of hardware such as routers and switches in collaboration with external vendors. Additionally, you will develop automation tools to streamline the deployment, administration, and monitoring of network infrastructure.

The Main Responsibilities

• Maintaining high availability and performance of production applications.

• Monitoring systems and responding quickly to incidents using APM tools and log analysis.

• Automating deployments and processes (CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT).

• Creating and updating technical documentation and runbooks.

• Collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.

• Troubleshooting performance issues (JVM, database connections, web containers).

• Managing test and production environments, accounting for differences between them.

• Participating in postmortem analysis and implementing preventive measures.

Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or related field.

• 10+ years of related experience required.

• 2+ years' previous experience with DevOps, GIT, CICD and/or related certifications.

• 6-8 years of previous experience working with Java/J2EE, Microservices, Spring, SpringBoot, REST APIs, Postman.

• Experience with an APM solution: AppDynamics (preferred), Dynatrace.

• Experience working with infrastructure-based technologies (Load balancers, SSL, API Gateways, DNS, etc.).

Preferred:

• Experience with AlOps tools like Splunk and Big Panda.

• Experience with supporting containerized or cloud applications.
