YOUR MISSION
We are transforming our POS to a completely new platform where our users manage and analyze their entire financials within. Your mission is to join our team and take ownership of our Frontend architecture and build a scalable User Interface with an excellent performance. This transformation provides lots of technical challenges. Your deep knowledge and pragmatic approach to problem solving are your tools to manage them. All in all, you will contribute to creating a scalable product that enables thousands of SME´s to manage their financials and supports in making data driven decisions.
YOUR TEAM
We are a motivated and enthusiastic team of highly skilled JavaScript/React developers. Each member is eager to excel in new situations and challenges and strives for personal growth. We are passionate about new technologies, creating scalable and hardware compatible web applications, conducting talks and workshops within communities.
WITHIN 1 WEEK, YOU’LL
- Complete the ready2order on-boarding bootcamp and learn about our history, business and where we’re going.
- Get to know everyone at our two offices.
- Ship your first code by completing a welcome task.
WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU’LL
- Get in touch with your frontend engineering team and product managers to get an overview of the status quo.
- Start attending regularly Standup´s and weekly Demo Sessions to enable an agile workflow.
- Dive into our frontend architecture and code base.
- Ship weekly code to develop and redesign our current POS.
WITHIN 3 MONTH, YOU’LL
- Establish the frontend infrastructure of our new platform.
- Make advantage of room for personal and professional development by encouraging learning and coding together with our Senior Engineers.
- Work closely together with our Product Management and Development team to build first versions of the new product.
- Make technical and architectural decisions that will impact thousands of small businesses on a daily base.
WITHIN 6 MONTH, YOU’LL
- Create a scalable product that is compatible with any hardware and simplify the daily business of thousands of SME´s.
- Be a mentor for new team members within our frontend engineering team and accompany their personal and professional growth.
Skills and experience to be ready
- Have a deep understanding of the full web technology stack.
- Experience in frontend development of a software/ platform.
- You are an expert in Javascript and already familiar with React or eager to dive into.
- High level spoken and written proficiency in English.
