IT Specialist for EDI Integration

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to work in the central IT team of Raben Group. What awaits you here?  You will be integrating systems that process millions of transactions and operate 24/7/365 and the warehouse automation systems that work with those systems.

We work for our companies in many European countries, so you will need to be able to communicate effectively in English (we will speak English for a while during the interview). Teamwork is not just a slogan in our company. When working on large and complicated projects we need to be able to work in a team and we expect such skills from you as well. 

Responsibilities:

• Development of an IT warehouse system
• Participation in the process of application development (programming, design, arrangements with the business)
• Implementation of data exchange projects in Raben Group
• Testing the data exchange process
• Developing a standard for the introduction of new IT solutions
• Ensuring version compatibility between the repository and production systems
• Work in the central IT team of Raben Group requiring cooperation with business from different European countries.
• Participation in meetings and teleconferences conducted in Polish (about 60%) and English (about 40%)

Estimated division of work time: software development - 70%, testing and bug fixing - 10%, meetings with business: 10%, technical documentation - 10%

Requirements:

• Programming skills
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle databases
• Knowledge of operating systems from the Unix family
• Knowledge of XML document structure, experience in webservice configuration and (preferably) knowledge of EDIFACT
• Communicative English language skills
