Job description

We are one of the leading e-commerce retailers on the world (3rd biggest retailer in USA). We are a leader in mobile and social trade.

In the times of pandemic our e-commerce industry is noticing the biggest growth in years! Our 22 million customers place up to 800,000 orders daily.

Join the newly formed Software Engineering team in Krakow implementing the most exciting, global integration project.

For our business to work, Integration Development Team integrate over 600 services from our e-commerce, mobile and video channels with the global implementations of ERP SAP S/4 Hana, Order and Warehouse Management Systems. In middleware we use MuleSoft ESB, IBM MQ, Azure API Management supported by Terraform configuration as code, Open API. We use Spring Boot to build our microservices and REST APIs which seamlessly operate under ELK and Dynatrace supervision (Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube on K8S with Docker).

As our Team Member you will:

Works on complex integration projects of varied scope,
Works independently with limited guidance, to develop, configure, code and test integrations,
Presents all work in design review and code review sessions,
Tests own work and supports test reviews. Participates in post-implementation reviews,
Cooperates with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements,
Provides operational support for production systems when necessary.

We are looking in you:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience,
1 or more years of related experience,
Knowledge of web services and integration concepts like APIs, ETL, Event/Message driven,
Knowledge of ESB,
Knowledge of any message broker/Queue Management Systems (IBM MQ, Active MQ etc.),
Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC),
Knowledge of Java, current JDK features, Spring, common libraries in use,
Knowledge of SQL,
Experience with testing, test libraries, tools,
Experience with DevOps (leveraging CI/CD automation pipelines, continuous testing),
Experience with k8s preferred,
Experience in cloud would be a plus (infrastructure as code, configuration as code),
Good to understand API management.
