The DATA Department at PwC IT Services is a group of specialists with deep understanding of business needs of our customers allowing the solutions we design to fully meet the expectations of all users.
We design Data Warehouses, configure Reporting Systems, plan and execute Data Migration processes for companies from various industry sectors.
Our engineers take care of Data Quality, optimize SQL and procedural code regardless of the technology and define flows in ETL/ELT processes
Analysts and Data Architects develop an enterprise-wide approach to data and data related issues.
Data Solution Engineer
Job description:
- Design and implementation o BI\Data warehousing solutions,
- Design and implementation of data ingestion and data processing pipelines,
- Data migration to SaaS systems such as Salesforce, Workday, Dynamics 365 etc.,
- Data quality verification and assurance,
- Work with customers to identify and document requirements in the data processing\integration\migration area(s).
Candidate profile:
- Professional experience in design and implementation of BI\ETL\Data warehousing solutions,
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse etc.),
- Very good understanding of data modelling principles. Ability to design data models for transactional and\or analytical databases,
- Very good knowledge of procedural SQL languages (T-SQL, PL / SQL),
- Very good knowledge of relational databases (in particular MS SQL Server, Oracle),
- Very good knowledge of at least one ETL tool (in particular: Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Talend),
- Strong analytical skills,
- Very good communication skills (both oral and written communication),
- Team player,
- Good command of English (C1 level).
Highly appreciated:
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Hands-on experience in SparkSQL, pySpark, Spark
- Data migration experience
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages e.g. Java, Python etc.
