You will work on cloud-based data to deliver insights supporting financial and business decisions. The role combines analytics, BI, and data engineering elements, with a strong focus on FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
Requirements:
Strong SQL skills and analytical querying (must-have)
Experience with cloud analytics tools: Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Explorer, Power BI
Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
Very good Python skills and experience with databases
Knowledge of Power Query and PowerApps
Apptio Platform (Cloudability, Apptio BI and TBM Studio) a plus
Responsibilities:
Build and develop a FinOps Data Platform with Data Engineers (design, implement, optimize data pipelines)
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Create dashboards and reports (Power BI, DAX) for product, finance, and tech stakeholders
Transform data into actionable insights using SQL and Python
Collaborate with DevOps, Finance, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions
Support forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial analysis
Automate data processes and improve reporting efficiency (e.g. Excel, Power Query)
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance monitoring
Work with cloud data sources (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
