Our clinically-validated, self-care mobile application Living Well supports cancer patients' behavioural and mental health needs to improve their quality of life and overall outcomes. 📌 Responsibilities

• The Android application is written in Kotlin 1.4.10 and uses Realm database and Retrofit.
• The LivingWell server application is based on Umbraco CMS with MS SQL.
• Application works with Azure Blob Storage and Azure Media service to stream content for devices. Data is stored on Azure SQL.
• Our infrastructure is deployed on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Mixpanel.
• LivingWell backend uses .NET Framework (4.7).
• Backend: .NET Core, SQL databases, document databases.

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience building native Android applications
• At least one application in the AppStore we can have a look at or contributions to opensource projects we can review
• Acquainted with best practices around software engineering and system design
• Familiarity with testing and assuring quality on iOS (unit testing, application profiling with Instruments, debugging)
• Self-motivation and proactive attitude.
• English at C1 level or higher. Ability to write documentation in English.
• Experience in running projects for the medical market is optional but welcome.
• Knowledge of the German language is optional but welcome.

💡 Scope of work:

• Currently we are both working with subcontractors and building our in-house development team. You will be a major contributor in our in-house team but the role will also require cooperation with external entities who support us in development.
• Technical development of our apps - our product portfolio consists of Living Well and Balance apps. We have a platform that is a Class I medical device and for which we plan further development.
• Technological research for all IT projects.
