Job description
We're building a solid team of developers who care about code and cool teamwork. We are developing several products: Promo video editor (https://slide.ly/promo) and mobile applications supporting the main business.
We just started working on a new product and You will take a meaningful part in our business intelligence and data engineering efforts.
You will design and implement highly scalable data processing software, ideally in Python, RedShift/BigQuery and more. Building a solutions to turn billions of data points into actionable insights.
We are looking for someone to join Warsaw team to build data processing systems and our company’s data warehouse. Salary from 16k net PLN (b2b) and up depending on the skills.

Last year Promo acquired Polish Startup UnStock, a mobile-first UGC (User Generated Content) video marketplace. The company is headquartered in Tel-Aviv and has offices in Warsaw.
What will you do?
We just started working on a new product and You will take a meaningful part in our business intelligence and data engineering efforts.
You will design and implement highly scalable data processing software, ideally in Python, RedShift/BigQuery and more. Building a solutions to turn billions of data points into actionable insights.
As part of our team, you will work closely with product managers and engineers and have a huge impact on this new product.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience in Big Data management (BigQuery or RedShift or Hadoop)
- Experience in writing Python / GOLang microservices
- Experience in spark / hive
- API + REST experience (especially connecting with 3rd party data providers like Mixpanel, Intercom, Stripe)
- Ability to connect his codes with existing PHP codebase (with other devs support)
- Fast learner, solutions & results oriented with a thirst for knowledge.
- "Can do" attitude, proactive, team player.
Bonus points for experience with:
- MongoDB
- ML knowledge
