    Currently we are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join our Technology team. In this role, you will technologically lead our software development team and act as a connection between the developers' department and the Engineering Manager. You’ll take the responsibility for the Booking Engine platform that builds the initial user experience in the booking process, providing potential guests with fast and accurate availability and pricing information, which will allow them to pick accommodation of their choice while also driving up hoteliers’ direct revenue.




    Daily activities:

    • Team support in daily programming work and delivery, as well as distribution of competences in development teams.
    • Close collaboration with other members of the team (developers, tester, Product Manager, Team Leaders) and architects in design and implementation of strategic applications of the company.
    • Close collaboration with the Engineering Manager and CTO.
    • Participation in routine events, i.e. daily, refinement, planning, review, retrospective.
    • Design and development, taking care of the code quality and the architecture of the created and maintained applications.
    • Applying the best development practices and recommending optimal solutions.
    • Coordinating and taking part in technical trainings and meetings.
    • Team building, incl. participation in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
    • Building a friendly atmosphere and a comfortable working environment for the team and other employees of our company.




    Requirements

    • Seasoned software engineer with strong engineering background preferably in
    • PHP 7-8, Laravel or Symfony
    • TypeScript, node.js
    • MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB
    • Vue
    • Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
    • People leadership experience (at least 2 years) as a Team Lead or Technical Team Lead.
    • Engineering mindset that leads yourself and the team to explore new ways of doing things and overachieve goals.
    • Knowledge of up-to-date software architecture patterns and practices.
    • Decision making track record.
    • Solid agile/scrum practice. 
    • Product focus mindset, willingness to collaborate with Product Managers
    • Advanced Polish and English communication (C1).

    Recruitment process:
