Job description

Your tasks:

Automation of operations in the Operations area, including server commissioning and software deployment
Further development of the configuration management system
Maintaining the build chain for Debian packages and developer support
Development and integration of tools for the management of our platform
Creation of meaningful documentation as well as verification and maintenance of already existing documentation
Continuous improvement of our services and internal service management processes

Your profile:

Experience in Configuration Management, preferably with SaltStack
Knowledge in software development with Python and in scripting with Bash
Experience in dealing with continuous delivery tools, eg Rundeck, Jenkins, Gitlab CI
Good knowledge of Linux server system administration, preferably Debian
Basic server hardware knowledge
Bonus: Skills in Debian package building
Self-initiative, independent recognition and estimation of problems as well as the introduction of suggestions for improvement
teamwork
Bonus: ITIL v3 knowledge
Fluent English and German language skills
