You’re good at three things
- Designing and building large scale and high-performance applications.
- Development in the cloud. You know when and how to use cloud services and when go for on-premise setup.
- Mentoring. You’re comfortable with working with junior members of the team and explaining good practices.
The most important thing is what you can do, not how you learned
We understand that knowledge is something that can be obtained in several ways. For us it is not that interesting if you are self-taught or have a master’s degree. But there are a few things you need to bring:
- You are bundled with Java or other languages supporting multithreading and you’re willing to learn Scala.
- You know everything about relational and nonrelational databases.
- You have at least 8 years of experience with building platforms supporting large amounts of data and bazillion changes per second.
- You have some experience with machine learning or data analysis

We’re currently in the middle of a tech revolution at Prisjakt. You’ll be the one helping us build a super-fast and super-reliable platform.
We want everyone to feel “Monday, finally”.
At Prisjakt you don't need to invent your "work persona". Our most important principle is that you are welcome just as you are. We do our very best to make you feel “Monday, finally” every week and at the same time make it easier for you to get the life puzzle together. With us you have five hours to spend on yourself each week, two of these on physical activity and three on skills development (someone plays in a band, another learns driver's license theory and a third learns to create magic in a new 3D application).
