Cloud Support Engineer
At Pretius, we are looking for Cloud Support Engineer to a project for global-scale platform in the field of gaming and lotteries.
Project / Role
Act as first point of contact: triage, diagnose, and resolve or escalate requests
Manage end-to-end ticket lifecycle, ensuring SLA compliance and clear communication
Perform multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP) including access, resources, networking, and monitoring
Support GitHub and IAM (access control, permissions, authentication issues)
Monitor and optimize cloud costs, including anomalies and chargeback/showback support
Maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement (automation, post-incident insights)
Requirements
Strong customer service mindset; clear and professional communication with technical and non-technical audiences
Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS or Azure) with interest in GCP
Basic networking knowledge (DNS, routing, firewalls/security groups, load balancing, troubleshooting)
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Manager)
Ability to handle multiple requests, prioritize, and communicate progress proactively
Structured troubleshooting skills (analysis, isolation, logical problem-solving)
Nice to have:
Knowledge of FinOps (tagging, cost allocation, budgets, optimization)
Understanding of cloud governance (policies, access reviews, audits)
Basic scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, CLI tools)
Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep)
Experience with monitoring and observability (alerts, dashboards, runbooks)
Foundational cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
