We are now at the stage of forming a DevOps team and practice at our technology centre and we are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer that will help us to lead it. On the daily basis you will be working closely with our Development and IT teams to optimize the velocity and quality of our proprietary software delivery.

What you will do:

- Help to setup and then lead the DevOps team
- Own the vision of DevOps practice at Prescient
- Work closely with Development and IT Teams on implementation of the DevOps vision
- Research and implement changes in the tool stack
- Support software development processes by automating workflows and integrating various tools
- Take active part in Release Management
- Configure CD/CI pipelines and dynamic application environments
- Take part in recruitment processes for new team members

Skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years of total professional experience in one of following: DevOps, SysOps, IT, Software Development or Enterprise Operations, preferably 1+ year in a team leading position
- Experience in CD/CI tools and pipelines setup
- Configuration management tools
- Virtualization and Containerization solutions
- Monitoring and log management tools
- Relational database
- Webservers and load balancers
Nice to have:
- A Bachelor in Computer Science or similar
- Experience in setting up a DevOps teams and practice
- Experience in implementing CD/CI pipeline across multiple types of software applications and infrastructure
- Experience in integrating proprietary software with 3rd parties’ apps
- Understanding of infrastructure and system architecture
