The company software - wraps around any business intelligence (BI) tool, allowing companies across sectors to infuse strategy at each organizational level. Its easy-to-use web-based user interface currently enables over business users to easily build scorecards, track KPIs, and manage performance metrics. 

The Technical Documentation Specialist will assist the Documentation Manager in developing and maintaining user-facing documentation for Our Client, with special focus on written technical information and standard tech writing deliverables.

 Job Responsibilities:
🔥 Write high-quality and easy-to-understand technical documentation:
- Release Notes
- Installation Guides
- Upgrade and Migration guides
- Technical Data Sheets
- Online Help for regular and IT operation users (Application Server and Database Server Admins)
- Specialized document types
🔥 Interact with subject matter experts (SMEs) across QA, Development, SaaS, Product Management teams for base material and technical specifications.
🔥 Actively apply and assist the development of internal processes and documentation best practices.
🔥 Potentially create internal product new features presentations, video tutorials, white papers, infographics, conceptual overviews and website content.
🔥 Proactively propose and implement new standards, tools and processes in documentation area
🔥 Lead the documentation team to adopt the best-in-class documentation standards
🔥 Participate in the roadmap planning
🔥 Report to the management team

Qualifications:
🟢 3-5 years experience in writing software documentation for end-users
🟢 Technical Background (BA/MA in Computer Science or related)
🟢 English proficiency (Norwegian language is a plus)
🟢 Basic active knowledge of programming languages (HTML, XML)
🟢 Excellent working skills with Microsoft 365 Office apps, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Acrobat DC, MS Visio
🟢 Active knowledge of content authoring and desktop publishing software (Adobe RoboHelp, MadCap Flare)

Familiarity with:
🟢 Client/server and web-based applications
🟢 Information technology (IT) systems
🟢 Software development life cycle (SDLC)
🟢 DevOps and CI/CD

 Working knowledge of:
🟢 Version-control project collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Teams, Jira)
🟢 Source control systems (Git)
🟢 Issue-tracking systems (JIRA)
🟢 Release planning and Agile methodology
