Quality Assurance Specialist

As an QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST, you will design, create and built test cases, test plans and test strategies for multiple software platforms along with automation test scripts for all applications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Crafting, creating, and building test cases, test plans and test strategies for multiple software platforms
• Deliver quality products by thoroughly testing throughout testing phase of development life cycle by using a combination of testing methods.
• As a professional with excellent communication skills you will be leading and coordinating work across teams and QA analysts
• Collaborating to define, organize and plan for both; functional and test automation (for one or more projects).
• Communicate, prioritize and track test execution, defects and issues appropriately and recommend corrective action whenever required. Implement functional testing, regression testing and UI/UX testing, for all new features in cross browser environments (including mobile devices if needed).
• Participating on Agile ceremonies, being focused on requirement definition/refinement as early in the SDLC as possible.
• Collaborate with the Software Development teams and other Product Owners to understand the requirements and develop and manage the test scenarios for all the new development projects. Log, communicate, prioritize and track defects and issues appropriately and recommend corrective action whenever required.
• Work with development team and Database Administrators to identify system deficiencies and escalate to appropriate teams for timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline,
• 5 years or more of work experience and technical training (Code Bootcamp, etc.).
• Understanding of basic concepts, terminology and practical application of current and emerging technologies.
• Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions.
• Working understanding of software architecture including programming languages, databases and data interchange approaches.
• Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications and implement complete solutions.
• Define, organize, plan, and execute projects from vision through implementation.
• Excellent English (both verbal and written) and communication skills
• Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term objectives. Looking towards continuous learning and growing.
