Are you passionate about designing great, robust and scalable systems, writing clean code and automated tests? Can you lead by example, proactively raise issues, give constructive feedback, come up with ideas for improvement and clearly communicate with the team?
We are looking for a hands-on Front-end lead to support one of our global clients in building and testing large-scale React-based SPA’s and to lead the front-end team.
The role and responsibilities include
- Lead by example, by writing reliable, modular, well-tested and “clean” code
- Proactively raise ideas and issues, contributing to designs with feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Support other team members through peer review
- Help to optimize our development processes and build tools
- Ensure progress, issues, and ideas are communicated clearly to the right people
- Actively participate in defining our application’s architecture

About you
- You have 4+ years of experience with front-end development
- You have 2+ years of recent React.js Experience
- You are at ninja level in JavaScript
- You have substantial experience with building and testing large scale React-based SPA’s
- You have strong knowledge about JavaScript build tools (Webpack/Snowpack)
- You are passionate about designing great, robust systems that can scale and writing automated tests for your code to keep quality high
- You are a proactive and pragmatic person
- You work well independently; you are self-motivated, structured and target-driven
- You enjoy communicating and collaborating with your team members
- You know how to perform excellent code reviews
- You can point out mistakes in UX/UI design and at the system architecture design level
- You believe that software should serve users rather than the other way around
- You have good communication skills
- You speak English (B2)
- You are excited about working remotely
- You live in the EU and can work here
Nice to have
- A good understanding of agile product development, especially in an enterprise setting
- Backend experience (node,js)
- Experience with Docker
- Involvement with open source projects
- You have worked location-independently before
