Pitney Bowes, a global technology company, provides shipping and mailing solutions, data management software, and location intelligence offerings, powering billions of physical and digital transactions in the connected and borderless world of commerce.

Pitney Bowes Poland is currently looking for a Software Developer who will join Customer Engagement Solutions business line, developing several industry communication products used across the globe and delivering a brand new product using serverless technology.

You will:

Be responsible for performing development tasks with guidance from more senior staff
Participate in the design and implementation of features
Identify issues and solve problems throughout the development cycle

Must have:

At least 2 years of experience delivering commercial software solutions
Software development experience with web applications
Advanced JavaScript software development experience - ideally with experience of working with Angular (the later versions), alternatively very good knowledge of Python
Good knowledge of English language to be able to communicate with international teams

Nice to have:

Experience of infrastructure as code using AWS or Google Cloud
Experience working in an agile/lean environment utilising TDD
Knowledge and/or experience of serverless technology like Lambda
Knowledge and/or experience of using DynamoDB as a document database
Knowledge of containers systems like Docker or Kubernetes
