SysOps Administrator  

(based in Warsaw, Poland) 

YOUR ACTIVITIES  

We are looking for a skilled and proactive SysOps Administrator to join our IT team (DevSysOps). Main goal is to help PGS scale our tech stack to support business growth to 20000 sites. Our SaaS product is build using .NET framework. Our infrastructure stack includes IIS, Windows Servers and SQL Severs running on virtual machines (Hyper-V, VMware). We use AWS AND MS AZURE CDN network to manage additional customer data. For private DC A redundant cluster built of physical servers managed by HYPER-V and VMWARE in each data center. This role is pivotal in managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of our services. 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Design, manage and maintain PG platform & production infrastructure hosted within our Data Centers (i.e. public like MS Azzure/AWS and private like Orange) 
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline our operational processes (e.g. monitoring tools) 
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the highest levels of security and availability 
• Collaborate with the development teams to support our infrastructure needs for ongoing projects and deployments 
• Manage backup and disaster recovery systems 
• Installation and administration of new systems and services for our corporate IT landscape  
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to ensure our infrastructure supports our growth (e.g. public cloud migration, monolithic vs micro-services architecture) 

WHAT WE EXPECT 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 
• Proven experience (min 3 years) as a SysOps Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role 
• Experience in managing mission critical and/or High Availability production systems 
• Proficiency in scripting language for automation purposes (eg. PowerShell) 
• Solid understanding of networking technologies and web security 
• Experience in developing monitoring and automation tools 
• Great problem-solving and good communication skills 
• Languages: English (B2 minimum), Polish 

Nice to have 

• Knowledge of Web Application Firewall configuration and maintaining 
• Proficiency in SQL (queries, db administration) 
• Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS), including monitoring, scaling, and securing applications. 
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible). 
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes will be a plus
