Cloud Platform Engineer

Are you passionate about cloud platform engineering with a strong focus on security, and ready to make a real impact in a highly autonomous team of cloud engineers and SecOps specialists? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team of cloud platform and SecOps specialists. In this role, you’ll be hands-on in defining, operating, and securing our cloud infrastructure, and play a key role in enhancing the platform across the organization.

Your position in our team:

• Key-Player in a small team of specialists: Take on a crucial role in a tight-knit team, where your contributions will directly impact our cloud landscape and security initiatives.
• Design, implement, and operate platform and security solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D teams and drive improvements and security enhancements to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across the organization.
• Coordinate and communicate with risk management and information security functions across the organization.
• Take ownership of improving the cloud infrastructure by enhancing the foundational components of our AWS-based environment, applying security frameworks and aligning with the AWS Well-Architected Pillars.
• Identify, manage and mitigate cyberthreats by employing our Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) Wiz, working closely with the broader security organization

Technologies: 

• High proficiency with terraform/OpenTofu and AWS services such as VPC/Networking, EKS, ELB, Route53, IAM, RDS, CloudFront, S3, CloudTrail, Lambdas
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes/Docker, Cloud-Native Observability/Datadog, GitOps 
• Languages: Proficient in shell scripting and Go; occasional use of JavaScript or Python; general understanding of the JVM and Spring framework.
