    👉 Person hired on that position will be responsible for tasks connected with maintenance and evolution of production, test and development infrastructure. This engineer will be responsible for work for all PayU platforms across EMEA region


    Role description

    • Maintain operating systems of infrastructure and keep this same high SLA,
    • Servers installation, configuration, software upgrades, etc.,
    • Troubleshoot problems,
    • On-call rotation,
    • Develop automation to quickly and rapidly deploy instances or services from hardened images or pre-configured schemas,
    • Build and use monitoring tools to find problems, resolve and/or escalate to development and ensure that we exceed our SLAs,
    • Build and manage development and testing environments, assisting developers in debugging application issues using tools,
    • Participate in the building of tools and processes to support the infrastructure,
    • Contribute to the creation of system support documents such as run books used by our teams,
    • Leverage scripting to build required automation and tools on an adhoc basis.


    What are we looking for:

    • 2+ years of experience as a SysAdmin
    • 3_ years of experience in Linux / Unix operating systems
    • Experience in virtualization and containerization of environments
    • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language
    • Experience in working with version control systems (git)
    • Good knowledge of configuration management systems (puppet, ansible)
    • Good knowledge of load balancer solutions (haproxy)
    • Practical knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure or GCP)
    • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes
    • Experience in managing physical servers
    • Good knowledge of servers and protocol HTTP
    • Good command of the English and Polish language
    • Practical knowledge of monitoring systems
    • Practical knowledge of SAN
