ParTech, Inc. seeks a Quality Automation Engineer to join our Data Central software development team.
Job Summary: As a Quality Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our highly complex product. This role requires a strong foundation in test automation, particularly with .NET frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement new, maintain, and update existing automated test cases to adapt to changes in the product and ensure ongoing reliability.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks with a strong emphasis on .NET (C#).
- Identify, document, and report defects using our Defect Tracking software. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify potential risks and dependencies in the testing process and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Develop manual test cases, if needed, that will serve as the basis for automated tests, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of all product aspects.
- Regularly communicate with R&D teams and Product Owners to align testing efforts with product goals and timelines.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in writing automated test cases and developing test automation QA frameworks, with at least four years of experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and JavaScript is essential.
- Hands-on experience with CSS, HTML, and MSSQL for data retrieval and verification.
- Solid experience with Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Extensive experience with automation tools such as Appium or Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and optimize testing processes.
- Solid understanding of testing theory, supported by formal QA training as a minimum requirement.
- A minimum of four years of experience in automation testing, with a strong understanding of both UI and API automation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. Proficiency in English (at least Upper Intermediate level).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Java, Python, or other programming languages.
- Experience using codeless tools like Ranorex to streamline and automate manual QA processes.
- ISTQB certification or similar qualifications.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.
