We’re on the hunt for Senior Ruby on Rails Developers to constantly develop and empower our team. We'd love to meet real experts in the ROR area, for whom programming languages have no barriers and are tools to create the best solutions.
Our stack (some examples): TypeScript / JS / React / Ruby on Rails / WebGL / Canvas / Node / Heroku / Github CI / Spree / AWS / CQRS / DDD / Slack / OSX
This role will suit someone who can search for needed information and ask right questions to find the most optimal way, guaranteeing the highest quality.
You’ll get the space to:
- develop range of features starting from Wallet and Custom Offers in Studio and Plus team to Vendor Management and Production Control systems in Supply Chain team - depending on the team you join.
- work closely with Product Team to create estimations and possible solutions for upcoming initiatives and features
- review the code and sharing your knowledge with the rest of the development team
- provide insights to the system architecture and proposed changes.
Musts:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails or Sinatra
- Very good knowledge of relational databases like PostgresSQL
- Ability to implement business logic into the code
- Excellent knowledge of GIT
- Solid communication skills
- Very good knowledge of patterns and ability to implement them based on use case
- Experience maintaining and building big web apps
Nice to haves:
- Domain Driven Design and architecture based on CQRS and Event Sourcing
- Spree gem
- Javascript and React or Vue
- PHP
- CI systems like Jenkins or Gitlab
- Docker
- AWS
