The team is constantly growing and we're looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Science Team. In this role you’ll prepare data pipelines that will fuel various analytical needs, oversee the development and use of company data systems and co create data strategy with respect to database infrastructure, data consistency, adequacy, privacy & compliance.

What you’re going to learn:
- How to run advanced analytics projects
- The data science toolkit
- How to operate with top analytical tools such as Segment, Amplitude and Big Query
Responsibilities:
- Prepare data pipelines to make data accessible for the analytical teams
- Develop and implement procedures for effective data management
- Oversee and manage the daily use of data systems
- Regularly monitor and evaluate information in the data systems that could affect analytical results
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications
- Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements
- Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
- Guarantee adherence to legal and company regulation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- Experience in data management or analysis
- Strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures
- Advanced SQL
- General knowledge of programming languages
- Python programming language
- Ability to decipher, organize and process large amounts of data
- Analytical and business oriented mindset, problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms
Bonus points:
- experience with AWS, GCP
- experience with Big Data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, NoSQL
- version control systems
- experience with data integration tools like Segment
