We're looking for Data Analyst to support our data-driven decision-making in the Product Team. At Packhelp we've made a huge investment into analytics very early on. We're pulling data from a variety of sources: user behaviour, marketing campaigns, CRM, analytics, even from designs created by our customers. As a Data Analyst,you'd be helping us make the right decisions through data insights, reporting and various forms of analysis. You'll be designing new ways of collecting information and looking into a huge amount of historical data to discover with new insights. If you happen to be learning Machine Learning, you'll have a chance to get help and advice from the Data Scientist we've got onboard.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in data analysis (preferable experience with consumer product optimization work)
  • Business-oriented mindset and understanding how retention, cohorts, lifetime values, user acquisition are key to the growth of any business.
  • Presentable background in statistical modelling.
  • Knowledge of SQL or any tool allowing to retrieve data from SQL databases.
  • Experience with R, Python, JavaScript will be a big plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with one or more technologies such as Metabase, Tableau, PowerBI, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel, Periscope Data, Segment.
  • Speaks and communicates well in English.

Responsibilities

  • Applying your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with our products.
  • Identifying the opportunities important for growth, to remove barriers for product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization.
  • Defining and analyzing metrics that inform the success of our products.
  • Preparing presentations with data-based recommendations for our product teams.
  • Working on multiple projects such as acquisition, user segmentation, user engagement, user life-time, cohorts, funnels and campaigns efficiency analyses.
  • Finding gaps in data collection and working with our developers to fill these gaps.
  • Highlighting mistakes in our data-related thinking.
  • Picking right statistical models and technology.
  • Working through problems with inconsistencies in data coming from various tools, sources.
  • Pushing us to the next level in data-driven decision-making.
