Job description

At Packhelp we are rethinking what creating custom-branded packaging should be. We’re now serving more than 8000 customers from 29 countries. We make the process of designing and ordering packaging as smooth and seamless as possible. With just 30 pieces as a minimum quantity, we’ve enabled thousands of customers to order their very own packaging without ruining their budgets. Our mission is to become the best place to order packaging online. With hundreds of new ideas, lots of experience, a range of new products and growing customer base, we are now scaling our Digital Product Team.

We're now looking for a Product Manager to help Marketing Squad reach our goals. We're looking for someone who deeply dives into problems, scrutinises data, ideas and aligns cross-functional teams towards holistic strategy. Ideally, you'd have a background in customer acquisition, e-commerce and a good overview of Ads & SEO strategies. The role requires thorough market research, coming up with innovative solutions and an ability to work on a number of initiatives simultaneously. As a Product Manager you'll be responsible for managing your roadmap, strategy and you'll have a dedicated tech team you'll be closely working with. For the tech team, you'll be playing a role of Product Owner, helping designers and developers to come up with the right product through kick-offs, daily stand-ups, planning and brainstorming sessions.

In general, you’ll be responsible for
  • acting as a Product Manager and Product Owner to the Marketing Squad
  • shaping and communicating roadmap and strategy
  • analysing initiatives with designers, developers, SEO specialists, Marketing Team, other stakeholders and aligning them
  • detailing specs for new initiatives (our way of talking about features, user stories)
  • improving customer acquisition and our core onboarding funnels
  • working on converting customers to MQLs and SQLs
  • digging into problems to reveal underlying, un-obvious problems
  • assessing risk and profit of initiatives
  • working closely with CPO, other Product Managers, CMO and CEO to shape and execute on Packhelp's vision

We’re searching for someone who:

  • speaks and communicates well in English
  • thrives navigating ambiguity, exploring uncharted areas, doesn't give up when obstacles occur
  • is a great communicator
  • loves asking “why" and digging into problems more than it might seem necessary
  • has an eye for aesthetics, clarity and great UX
  • thinks couple steps ahead and execute on a vision
  • has empathy and can tell what other people feel and see
  • can triage mixed priorities
  • has at least 2 years of experience in software development, project management and UX
  • has enough technical fluency to communicate with developers easily
  • worked under Agile, Scrum or anything alike

Why us:

  • we’re a team that needs and wants your input and ideas. We’re growing fast – our sales increased 15x in the last 12 months, and we’ve doubled our team in the previous 6 months
  • we’re creating a one-of-a-kind product on a world-class level
  • we are developing a product to be used all over the world
  • startup life = awesome job. Fast development & experience by the bucket load
  • our team is built from people who love what they do and believe in the value of what they create
  • we solve problems instead of forwarding them onward
  • we are a young, dynamically developing startup with a people-first approach. Our team defines the direction and success of the company
  • we use the best tools to support our work: Intercom, Zendesk Sell, Intercom, Segment, Autopilot, Asana, Amplitude and many more
  • the usual private medical care, great equipment (most of us use Macs) and lots of team integrations!
