Our Pre-Sales team aims to facilitate and smoothen the most complex sales cycles. From dealing with tenders to solutions architecture, the team does everything in its power, working in project mode, to support the group's sales opportunities.
#Missions
The pre-sales engineer is responsible for providing technical support to large commercial accounts in order to assist during contract negotiations.
The main objective is to match customers and prospects needs with the best possible solutions, from our internal products catalogue as well as our partners solutions.
- Analyze customer needs
- Respond to calls for bids in collaboration with a sales representative
- Set out the most relevant technical offer in collaboration with the sales representative
- Assist sales during meetings with prospects, large commercial accounts in order to provide both technical support and a technical perspective on the company's offer
- Respond to customers' questions and reassure them by providing relevant answers to technical points
- Perform technical demonstrations and product presentations to customers, decision-makers and/or users
- Monitor all market developments from the financial and technological side
- Participate in professional expos, conferences and any other event that can help you enrich your market knowledge
- Raise awareness of OVHcloud by using your expertise to help develop new products and improve existing solutions
- Be the speaker during events, conferences, community meetings
- Relay use cases and share experiences on the ground
#Profile
Qualifications
- Ability to make decisions and be persuasive
- Have good writing and communication skills
- Business savy: must be able to formalize customer proposals to meet their needs
- Being creative: ability to match business needs with the appropriate solutions
- Team spirit: must have the ability to work in conjunction with the sales representative and collaborate with various internal services
- Must have a command of English and Polish is essential
Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in a similar position required
- Have past experience in creating solutions for customers in the mid & enterprise segment
- Knowledge about the cloud, data center, network and AI market & services
- Knowledge about some of the products and suppliers from the list, that are used by OVHcloud: i.e. VMware, Openstack, Zerto, Veeam, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, MongoDB etc.
- Knowledge about Polish and CEE infrastructure and cloud markets
