We are looking for a candidate for the position of C++ Developer for a team developing 2D/3D games for web and mobile platforms. We have 70+ titles translated into over a dozen languages, 2 billion rounds played and clients from all over the world. We use our own engine and we care about the quality of the code. We offer more than just fruit Thursdays, and above all- we love games and we love making them together. Everyone in the team has an impact on the creative process and the final look of the project. Our gaming platform is developed by compact teams of experienced and agile backend developers solving complex functional and architectural problems and making decisions that have direct impact on the product's direction and our processes. What you will do
- work with senior member of your team to understand functional and technical requirements
- develop new, charts-breaking games using our state-of-the-art game engine and extend existing gaming platform
- maintain high quality of codebase by covering your code with automated tests
- participate in the deployment and maintenance of the platform
- participate in and learn from code reviews
- work in an agile teaming environment
- in short: learn a lot and have tons of fun doing it!
What we expect from you
- 3+ years of professional, hands-on, non-internship experience in backend software development in modern C++ - 11 or above
- hands-on experience with Linux development and demonstrated skills in using GNU Toolchain
- knowledge of Git version control system
- ability to analyze and understand code
- english language written and spoken
- willingness to learn
What will help you excel
- academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar qualification
- practical experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
- understanding of REST API
- working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript and Jest or Mocha testing frameworks
- familiarity with modern CI\CD tools, in particular Jenkins and Conan
- experience with Atlassian Product Family (Jira, Confluence)
- working knowledge of theory of probability and statistics
