Job description

We are seeking for experienced IT Support Engineer who is willing to work with our client - one of the largest banking and financial institution in the world. As an IT Support Engineer you will be responsible of the design and development of an organization’s IT infrastructure and its security standards. If you would like to acquire knowledge and experience in the field of Cyber Security, this position could be a good fit for you.

Responsibilities:

Performing operational support of various security tools deployed across.
Implementing system security policy, client and host access, file permissions and user accounts.
Day-to-day administration and maintenance of network.
Monitoring system security relating to resiliency, malware intrusion and patching Installation, maintenance and upgrade of software.
Executing server and system data backup and recovery.
Coding, testing, debugging application systems in operational environment.
Handling issues such as: setting-up, testing, configuring and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience of working in Information Technology.
Familiarity with Unix, Windows and database platforms such as: Linux, Windows, DB2 and Oracle.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and being able to clarify complex concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Handling proper vendor escalations.

Nice to have:

Experience of working in Cyber Security environment.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as: PowerShell, Perl, Python or Bash.
Working experience of supporting Cyber Security tools such as: Symantec, McAfee or Splunk.
Working knowledge of application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Tivoli etc.
